Join Surfersvillage and participate in this virtual but real surftrip to Stadbrook Island Queensland Australia organized by Worldsurfers and taking place between 14th and 22nd October.

This is a full on surf trip with well known surfers from around the world participating, Robbie Page and Wendy Botha amongst them. The online coverage will bring you right to wherever the people are, be it in the water, on the beach, in restaurants, fishing, dancing, sleeping, etc etc etc.

Not only will you have the opportunity to take in all the surfing action, but you will also experience "Straddie" exactly as the surftrip does, and get to check out the island, it's environment, and people.

These are exactly the circumstances in which internet and Surfing Websites really come into their own, and afford you the opportunity to participate as if you were there., only a dream until very recently.

The crew at Worldsurfers are going all out to make this a great event, and have enlisted and been offered support from many sources to ensure it's success. Waves are expected to be good at this ideal time of the year, and a growing number of surfers are signing up to join the trip. It promises to be an excellent event

This is the first event in a series, of what is hoped to be four events a year, organized by Worldsurfers, and an idea that is taking hold in the internet surfer website community around the world, Surfersvillage included.
