"Pura Vida" for the Dutchies
  
 

 

 Cold, windy, crowded, brown water and inconsistent waves. That's about how the surf is in Holland. Not that we do not have some good surf days. But in general it is like this.

                                                        
 So what do you do as a super stoked surf Dutchie. Right, find yourself waves somewhere else. And that is exactly what some Dutchies did. They found their new home spot in Costa Rica.

 On a surf trip to Costa Rica which some Dutchies made in 1998, they rented a 4wheel drive, and with a map in hand they began their search. Of course they knew all the well-known surf spots, which can be found in almost any travel guide of Costa Rica.
