Anyone remotely interested in the ASP worldtour has seen Pierre's photos, somewhere, be it on the internet, in newspapers, magazines, or elsewhere.
He is currently the official digital photographer with the ASP, which involves his traveling worldwide 10 months a year to all WCT, and some other events. His work is seen by millions and appreciated by surfers worldwide.
His photographs can be seen on many of the major surf company's websites, and in the majority of all media covering the surfing contest circuit, as well as profiling the world's top surfers.
He's a regular on the front cover of magazines and newspaper front pages world-wide, as well as some of sports most prestigious websites. He also reports for a South African newspaper, and has been awarded the "best newspaper coverage" for the ASP in 1996.
Pierre is in his own right a very talented surfer, having previously competed with remarkable success on the ASP world tour, which he today finds himself participating in at the leading edge of digital and cyber technology.
We at Surfersvillage appreciate his talents and expertise are brought to us all by the asplive website, and we wish to do our respective bit in recognizing his talents, and providing a display of just some of his work.
Our thanks to Pierre for his endless energy, and to www.asplive.com for providing access to a sampling of Pierre's work. You may also see other photo galleries on Pierre's own website www.tostee.com.
As someone a while ago said, "never have so many owed so much to so few". Pierre is truly one of the few talented photographers bringing us top quality images, of the world's very best surfers, all the time, at the lightening speed of today's cyber community. Thanks Pierre.
