They Will Surf Again Adaptive Surfing Tour Rolls into El Porto This Sunday

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 12 May, 2010 : - - Los Angeles -- Nearly 40 paralyzed surfers are expected to enjoy the thrill of riding a wave at Life Rolls On Foundation’s They Will Surf Again (TWSA) event on Sunday, May 16 at El Porto in Manhattan Beach, CA.  The second stop on Life Rolls On’s nine-city adaptive surfing tour, They Will Surf Again is the signature program of Life Rolls On Foundation, which utilizes action sports to demonstrate the infinite possibilities despite paralysis. 

“They Will Surf Again is a day when people can actually see that nothing is impossible,” said Jesse Billauer, LRO Founder and Director of National Outreach. 

“We hope that each of our surfers and volunteers feels more hopeful and inspired after participating in our program.”
TWSA is made possible through generous contributions by the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA) and Global Surf Industries (GSI) as well as local sponsors, including the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Power 106, Function Drinks, Vita Coco, Sweet Treats and Creative Chakra Spa/

Preceding the event, Life Rolls On’s Active Young Professionals will host a TWSA Kick-Off Celebration fundraiser at Twelve + Highland in downtown Manhattan Beach on Saturday, May 15.  Chad Mihalick, founder of the action sports job search engine will be a featured speaker, while guests will be treated to music by Gavin Heaney of Latch Key Kid.
