Latin surfers compete in online airshow | Español

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 7 March, 2014 - Five major Latin surfers are in an online video battle for the best aerial maneuver. Martín Passeri ( ARG ), Miguel Tudela ( PER) , Thomas Tudela ( PER) , Nicolas Ventura ( ARG ) and Jean Carlos " Oli " González (PAN ), are now contending to be the first Latin American champs of the contest.

The first participant was Jean Carlos " Oli " Gonzalez, flying high in Bocas del Toro , Panama , rotates 180 degrees in the air with a slob grab, and other lands to rotate and complete 180 rotation.

The second appearance was young Argentinean Nicolas Quequén surfing in Ventura, the only competitor able to rotate 360 degrees in the air, a highly technical maneuver.

The third appearance came at the hands of a very talented Martín Passeri, in the non-rotating air, but it has the massive amplitude which helped with his campaign.
