ASC Awards to roll out at Armada Flow House Bali

ASC Updates

Sixth annual awards celebrate the best in Asian surfing

Editor's Note, December 16 Statement from ASC: Due to changes in their management and to our original agreement with the Armada Flow House Bali, the ASC Awards will not be held at the Armada Flow House Bali this Saturday evening 17th of December 2016. We have chosen another venue, The Lawn in Canggu, on the 22nd of December, so mark that on your calendar!

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 11 December, 2016 - The Asian Surfing Championships announces the 6th annual ASC Awards, which will take place at the Armada Flow House Bali on Jalan Dewi Sri in Kuta on Saturday the 17th of December 2016.

The Armada Flow House Bali is the perfect host for this year’s ASC Awards, offering a wide open space for the viewing of the 2016 ASC Tour recap video by Sean Gilhooley, the awards presentation, and a chance to experience the Flowrider to the tune of DJ music and plenty of festive libations, courtesy of Plaga Wine, Albens Cider, Nusa Cana Rum, Skyy Vodka, and Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia and food from Curly Sisters and Sate Taichan.

This event is all about surfers, surf fans, surf industry titans, local media and whomever else is around coming together for an evening of fun and swapping tales of the year’s adventures traveling and competing around the Asian region.

This year’s champions will receive surfboards from Channel Islands, Chilli, and Luke Studer, and products from FCS, Light Surfboards and more. The festivities will start with drinks and canapés (group tables for 10 are available for reservation) at 7:00 pm, and then the video at 8:00 pm, with the awarding following at 8:30.

After the awarding, the Flow House is giving away free rides for some lucky draw winners, so bring your swimming gear and be prepared to get wet and go crazy, shredding the Flowrider!
