Collectors Club gives members first dibs on the goods
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 8 May, 2009 : - - Back Beach Noosa, established in the iconic Queensland surf resort last September, has already gained a reputation for its esoteric collection of surf memorabilia, art and beach house décor. Now the company, owned by author and surfing identity Phil Jarratt and wife Jackie, is offering a selection of rare and special gems through a newly-created shopping page at backbeach.net.au.
The on-line shop will feature one of Australias best collections of early surf magazines, including mint copies of Surfing World, Surf, Surfer and Australian Surfer from an archive never previously offered for sale. Says Jarratt: When Back Beach was asked to market the magazine collection of a dear departed friend, we knew we were going to uncover some good stuff, but nothing like this treasure trove.

Back Beach is also offering its on-line customers great introductory offers on surf-related books, music, art and photography. One of the first specials is a small number of Kelly Slaters For The Love, co-authored by Jarratt and signed by Kelly.
Were also going to set up a collectors club, Phil added, with members getting first shot at surf collectibles as they come on offer. That will be up and running in June as we release the second lot of antiquarian publications.
