Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 15 October, 2013 : - - London - Coffin on Cake PR are proud to announce they have been appointed by London based gallery and store BEACH London to handle their communications strategy and all UK press and brand enquiries with immediate effect. The agency will support the development of the BEACH London brand through the curation of collaborative partners and strategic communication of their creative projects.
Founded in 2011 by Charlie Hood and Matt Lucas, BEACH London have developed their gallery and store on Cheshire Street, East London into an all-encompassing creative hub working with some of the world’s leading illustrators and designers which include James Jarvis, Will Sweeny and Pete Fowler. BEACH London works to endorse creatives on a number of levels from commissioning their work for exhibitions and commercial work to the careful and exclusive selection of products featured in their gallery and online store.
Speaking about appointing Coffin on Cake PR, BEACH London’s Director Charlie Hood said, “After working with Coffin on Cake on previous projects we felt their creative approach to brand development makes them the perfect agency to support us in the expansion of the BEACH London brand.”

BEACH London are currently exhibiting ‘La Plage’, a body of work by artist and illustrator Jean Jullien, whose sharp-witted visual puns explore human interaction and social behaviours. The prints, which are available to buy, will be on display at BEACH London’s Cheshire Street gallery and store until 26th October. BEACH London’s upcoming schedule of events includes the exclusive launch of Dazed and Confused photographer Robert Bellamy’s new Monograph ‘Blue Heron’, a special Halloween exhibition showcasing a series of Ouija board illustrations by a selection of artists, and artist Pau Sampera’s exhibition ‘Draw a Penis and Run Away’ launching in November.
Coffin on Cake will be showcasing work from BEACH London at their SS’14 Press Days on the 23rd and 24th October 2013 at their showrooms located on Redchurch Street in Shoreditch, London.
