BETHANY HAMILTONS FILM DOCUMENTRAY HEART OF A SOUL SURFER SET TO PREMIERE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 8 February, 2007 : - - Worldwide inspiration, national champion surfer, and Rip Curl rider, Bethany Hamilton, will be in southern California February 9-11, as her documentary Heart of a Soul Surfer is set to premiere in Huntington Beach, Irvine, as well as San Diego. Released by the San Diego-based surf film company, Walking on Water, the documentary outlines Bethanys courageous climb from shark attack victim to National Champion surfer.
The story is told from Walking on Water director of outreach, Mike Doyle. "Bethany is really an inspiration to anyone who's facing adversity or questioning the power of faith in their lives," Doyle said. "She's basically taken an event that could've easily ruined someone and used her faith and strong spirit to grow from it and help others."
