Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 26 April, 2017 - Billabong announces the opening of its first concept store at Nusa Lembongan. This marks an important milestone for the Australian surf and beach lifestyle label.
Not only will this be the first-ever surf retail concept opened in the area, but the store also symbolises a long and flourishing partnership with its operating partner, CV Raptor Retailindo – which in recent years has opened two other Billabong concept stores in Petitinget and Campuhan respectively.
Nusa Lembongan is a small island located off the southeast coast of Bali. While visitors will have to take a 25minute boat ride from the main island, its white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters are very quickly gaining popularity with surfers and divers alike, making it a must-go destination when in Indonesia.
Situated on the main street of Jungut Butu, Billabong Lembongan measures 92meter square in floor space and is built around the vernacular of surf. Keeping to the brand’s global retail design, the store is fitted with a generous blend of timber boards, faux brick textured walls, and concrete flooring. Besides offering up the best selection of garments and accessories the brand has to offer, an assortment of highly impactful visuals has also been employed throughout the store to further convey Billabong’s story. These images have been specially curated with the intent to inspire youth.
