Momentum Grows For The Boardroom At The Vans US Open Of Surfing

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 12 April, 2013 : - - A month after it was announced that The Boardroom had partnered with US Open Of Surfing event owner IMG, a long list of shapers, apparel brands, retailers and media have weighed in with their support for the event.

Building on its multi-year legacy of successful consumer shows, The Boardroom is not only enticing a wider variety of exhibitors – everything from high-performance shapers, new surf brands, and mainstays – it’s finally answering an often-heard request to get more retailers involved with the addition of a new two-day trade component before the consumer show.

The event will be housed in a standalone, fully climate controlled pavilion alongside the Vans US Open of Surfing, with private, trade-only days for retailers and media on Tuesday and Wednesday (July 23 and 24) followed by the show’s traditional consumer days Friday and Saturday (July 26 and 27).
