Stretch Riedel welcomes Wiggolly Dantas to the team
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 13 March, 2014 - Stretch Surfboards announces an addition to the professional surfing team Wiggolly Dantas.
Wiggolly Dantas just placed 2nd in the 2014 Volcom Pipe Pro surfing contest held on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Wiggolly rode a custom Stretch SG model surfboard in the contest, competed against the biggest names in the professional surfing world, and placed second just under Kelly Slater by 1.93.
Expect Wiggolly to continue to accelerate in the professional surfing world. Wiggolly will be working closely with Stretch on new innovative surfboard designs.
William “Stretch” Riedel has been hand shaping and building custom surfboards since 1977. The Stretch Boards factory is located a few blocks from world class surfing spots in Santa Cruz, California. Wiggolly Dantas is a professional surfer from Uba Tuba, Brazil, who recently won 2nd place at the Volcom Pipe Pro contest. Wiggolly is a amazing and talented surfer with passion, drive, and a genuine humble personality. “This guy actually gives me real feedback” - Stretch
