Great films, but someone has to be named the winner
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 15 July, 2014 - The 11th Anglet International Surf Film Festival hit Anglet in the South West of France over the weekend, and the winners were confirmed with 70 e Tal by Rafael Melli taking top honors as best film of 2014. Melli's vision bested other nominees in the same category: Bella Vita, The Old The Young and The Sea, Tierra de Patagones.
Prize for the best surfer went to Eric Dargent in Handicap Surf & Dreams who beat out nominees: Mick Fanning, Edouard Delpero, Eric Dargent and Eddie Aikau
Best Editing award was given to The Old The Young and The Sea which won over 70 e Tal, Missing, the Old The Young and the Sea
Prize for the best shooting was Bella Vita which topped other nominees: Encoded, Peninsula, Tierra de Patagones
Best Short Film went to Invasion of Fred Behro
Award for best soundtrack: Missing
