etnies Surf Team Adds Three Hawaiian Young Guns

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 18 July, 2005 : - - Lake Forest, Calif. - etnies proudly welcomes CJ Kanuha, Casey Brown and Nalu Wallace to the surf team. These three up-and-coming Hawaiians are hungry for the opportunity to take surfing to the next level, and are quickly becoming a true threat to the well-established pros.

Born and raised in Kona, 21 year-old CJ Kanuha's Hawaiian roots run deep and they are evident in his surfing. CJ is known for his fluid style and fearless approach to big waves.

Casey Brown is blowing up the contest scene, recently winning the Explorer Men's Division of the NSSA National Championships, and both the Hawaiian Regional and State NSSA Championships. At seventeen years of age, Casey is a Kona local that keeps pushing the limits-whether it be contests, freesurfing or boosting airs at his local break.

Nalu Wallace is upping the ante every time he paddles out. This 16 year-old from Maui is an all-terrain charger, pulling huge airs, ripping small waves and towing into Jaws on big days-Nalu is fearless!

Keep an eye on these three young guns. Congrats boys, and welcome to the team!
