Clay scored two magazine covers last year
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 1 February, 2016 - Carve has hit the ground running in 2016 re-signing their marquee team rider Clay Marzo.
Clay is considered one of the best free surfers on the globe, his surfing is another level and as Kelly Slater once said, “He knows things about surfinng that I’ll never know”.
Clay has a fearless abandonment in the water and can create what seems to be impossible manuvers time after time in 2 foot wind blown Maui or in the deepest pits of the Western Australian coast.
2015 was a great year for the Hawaiian and will be hard to top with Clay featuring on the covers of both Surfinng & Tracks as well as releasing his book “Just add water”, plus the mountain of clips & posts showcasing his true talent.
“Clay has a unique view of the world in and out of the water and is the perfect ambassador for Carve," said Matt Whyte, owner of Carve.
The 2 year deal is set to have Clay traveling the world, working on a signature model eyewear series and of cause showcasing his unique talent in the water.
“We feel Clay is truly a part of the Carve family and we are stoked to sign him for another 2 years” said Trent Munro, Carve’s Team manager.
