Ticos dazzle on the world surfing stage

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 8 June, 2015 - Costa Rica's Dream Team has won the country's first world title. The team took the Aloha Cup Gold after Carlos Muñoz, Leilani and Noe Mar McGonagle put in amazing performances at the ISA World Surfing Games.
Noe Mar McGonagle took gold in the men's as he ousted Nic von Rupp, Shane Holmes and Usuna Leandro. In the women's  Leilani McGonagle took silver. The one-two punch of Costa Rican talent was enough to seal the deal and give the Costa Rican team the gold medal.
"Thank God for sending the good waves," said Noe Mare McGonagle. "This win was the work of many years in family. I couldn't have done it without all the amazing Ticos on the beach and the support from Costa Rica. Without them this would not have been possible. This win is for you Costa Rica!" said Noe
