Peter Dodd steps down, Damion Fuller joins Electric

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 12 May, 2014 - San Clemente, CA - Electric announced today that Peter Dodd, Brand Manager for Australasia, is stepping down after 14 years with the brand. As of today, Damion Fuller has joined the company as General Manager for Australasia.

“I am extremely proud of all the amazing things we have accomplished in the last 14 years. To be involved in the brand's inception in early 2000, to the acquisition by Volcom in 2008, and to eventually being acquired by the Kering Group, it has been an incredible journey."

"I am confident that in helping build the brand to its present state I have helped lay a solid foundation for Electric to continue to flourish into the future. The Kering Group has brought an incredible wealth of knowledge, talent and infrastructure to the brand and I have no doubt the brands future is in the best hands for it to truly achieve it’s potential.“ – Peter Dodd

“We couldn’t be more grateful for Pete’s leadership and contribution to the brand since it’s beginning in 2000.  When the brand was going through it’s last big transition, Pete stepped up to take the helm and keep Electric on path as a leader in the sunglass category.  We know he will be successful in the next chapter of his career.”– Eric Crane, CEO

“I have great respect for Peter and his dedication to Electric. Peter and team have built the brand with integrity and authenticity. I look forward to honoring the relationships they have built over the past decade. Having been a fan of the brand since its inception, I am honored to be joining the team at such a pivotal time in the evolution of the business."

"Incredible opportunities exist in the action sports market for high-quality, authentic brands such as Electric. The Electric team has done an outstanding job positioning the brand for expansion. Combine these efforts with Electric’s premium product collection and the possibilities are endless." – Damion Fuller

Damien brings more than 20 years experience, previously Senior Designer of apparel & accessories at Mambo, Product Development Manager at Deus Ex Machina, Global Category Manager at Nixon and most recently Head of Design/Creative Director at Sheridan.
