Stealth Queensland Bodyboarding Titles

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 4 June, 2014 - Sunshine Coast, Queensland - The Queensland Bodyboarding Team will be selected this weekend to represent the Sunshine State at the upcoming Australian Titles in August. Queensland’s best bodyboarding maestros will hit the Sunshine Coast this weekend for the second and final event of the two-event State Bodyboarding Title Series, the Stealth Queensland Bodyboarding Titles.

Having had to postpone the event previously due to poor surf conditions, competitors are eagerly awaiting the second installment and their chance to represent their State in a bid for a coveted Australian Title. Palm Beach’s Calen Jordan may be a little more eager than most having won two Australian Titles back to back in 2012 and 2013 and will be looking to bag a third in 2014.

Jordan, 16, will first have to get by Sunshine Coast local, Simon Cassidy (Buderim, QLD) on his home turf before claiming a State title win. Early forecast modules indicate a great weekend of waves for the Sunshine Coast which will make for an exciting wrap up to the premiere State Bodyboarding Title Series.

The Queensland State Bodyboarding Title series is proudly supported by VS, Stealth, BSC, Hogs Breath cafe, Inverted Bodyboards, Be the influence, Coastalwatch Plus, Australian Skin Cancer Clinics, World Surfaris, Chiko, the Queensland Government, HIF and Surfing Queensland.
