France's Junior Team finishes 2nd | French

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 14 April, 2014 - In the final day of competition at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships at La Fae, Ecuador, Team France's Kim Véteau and Léo-Paul Etienne made it to the podium.

Leo-Paul Etienne won the Gold Medal, earning 12.44 points against Silver Medalist Joe Van Dijk (11.86) from Australia. The Bronze went to Nolan Rapoza (11.57) from USA and the Copper to Griffin Colapinto (6.93) also from USA.

Silver Medalist Kim Veteau (FRA, 11.86), was defeated by the Hawaiian Tatianna Weston-Webb. It was an exciting day of competition as the surf was finally producing as Surfline forecasters had predicted.

France finished second overall behind Hawaii and just infront of Australia and the USA.
