New South Wales Pro Surf Series inks deal with Lost and Goget

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 13 December, 2015 - Sydney - GoGet Carshare and Lost Surfboards have come onboard as partners of Surfing NSW’s upcoming NSW Pro Surf Series.

Over 144 of Australia’s and the world’s most promising male and female surfers will compete in each of the four World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) 1000 events.

As one of the world’s leading surfboard manufacturers, Lost have come onboard as a support partner across the series and will be doing a range of promotions such as demo boards.

“The crew at Lost Australia, are super stoked to be sponsoring the NSW Pro Surf Series. The Lost/Mayhem brand is synonymous with professional surfing and we look forward to showcasing our latest board ranges and technologies at every event stop, starting in January,” said Dave Tarantini, Managing Director, Lost Surfboards Australia.

GoGet, Australia's first and largest carshare service, has joined the list of NSW Pro Surf Series support partners, becoming the official transport partner for the entire series.

"We have helped surfers get to the water for years with our roof-rack equipped vehicles and people movers. Supporting the NSW Pro Surf Series is a natural next step and we're really happy to get everyone to where they need to go," said Tristan Sender, CEO of GoGet.

Surfing NSW devised the concept for the NSW Pro Surf Series with the intention of giving promising surfers the perfect platform to take their surfing to the next level, once they finish their time on the WSL Junior Qualifying Series (JQS).

“We anticipate the NSW Pro Surf Series will become the ideal stepping stone for surfers who aspire to compete in higher ranked events - but may not necessarily have a high enough seed to gain entry - as well as some of the world’s best who want to fine-tune their act, prior to the WSL Championship Tour getting underway in March,” said Surfing NSW CEO, Mark Windon.
