Maui surfer joins Buccaneer Board Riders
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 22 September, 2014 - Buccaneer Board Riders (BBR) announced today it has signed current ASP/WQS World #58 Granger Larsen to its surf team. This is the biggest thing to happen to BBR since the brand started in 2009, and the biggest endorsement for the wonderkid from Maui in the last two years.
Says Granger, "I am happy to announce that after two years without having a main sponsor and trying to go after one and getting denied a million times that finally this awesome company @bbrsurf @bbrsurfwear went after me and has taken a chance and given me a chance to keep my dream alive. So happy to have a company that believes in me and my surfing and me as a person. So ecstatic that I have a chance to do everything in my power to help this company as well as them help me. Thank you so much for this opportunity!!”
ASP/WCT World #18 CJ Hobgood said, “Granger Larsen is my all time favorite. He’s grown so much as a man and is destined for BIG THINGS. So stoked for you and BBR Surfwear"
The two year deal will enable Granger to pursue his dreams of qualifying for the ASP World Championship Tour. BBR is confident Granger will be realizing his dream on the WCT before this season is over. To celebrate the addition of Granger to the BBR surf team, BBR will add a Granger Larsen signature series Megastretch Boardshorts and T-Shirt to their Spring/Summer 2015 line, as well as new POP for surf shops, displays in Wahoo's fish tacos and free giveaways promoting Granger to the BBR program.
