Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 26 August, 2015 - This board has been at Greg Noll’s house for close to 50 years. His personal rider for big Sunset Beach, and the board that took him to a 3rd place finish at the 1967 Duke Kahanamoku Invitational at Sunset Beach. Also a trusty tool that Noll often used at Waimea Bay. This lot comes with Greg’s 1967 Duke Trophy (these have sold for upwards of $5K as stand alone auction items), an art quality Giclee print on canvas (framed in koa wood by Joe Curren) of Greg Noll riding this board during the Duke event (photo by Tim McCullough), an 11” x 17” photo of Greg Noll shaking hands with Duke Kahanamoku (framed in koa wood by Joe Curren), a 16” x20” photo of the Duke Contest poster (framed in koa wood by Joe Curren). Wow! Provenance. Pedigree. Pristine. Undoubtedly a star of the show! Pre-auction estimate $18K-$30K
