The Roxy Pro 2013, a Deep Blue Surfing event
Engaged in the protection of its playgrounds since many years, Roxy is committed to reduce the environmental impacts of its events.
In partnership with the ASP (The Association of Surfing Professionals), Sustainable Surf has developed the first ever set of “Green Guidelines” designed to help facilitate the running of more “ocean-friendly” surfing events.
The Deep blue surfing event certification focus on 5 main categories allowing us to evaluate and improve the performance of our events: waste management, transport, energy, climate change and community support.
Conscious that our playgrounds’ protection will not be possible without the support of everyone, this certification is also an opportunity to send a strong message to our partners, public and other players of the industry.
