Big potential in China...

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 17 November, 2010 : - - I got back from another amazing trip to Hainan, China a week ago. I never thought i'd spend a month in China and love it so much! It definitely had something to do with the awesome group assembled but the waves were really good and really uncrowded.

We completely scored! The main purpose of this second trip was to participate in the 2010 Wanning International Surfing Festival. The government of the Wanning region has realized the potential of surfers to jumpstart tourism and decided to put on an event to attract surfers from around the world. The whole event (from wine-chugging banquet dinners to huge drum-roll presentations) was very entertaining.
