World No.10 female surfer Laura Enever will host a Surfing Australia High Performance Centre camp

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 25 October, 2011 : - - Coolangatta -- Young Australian female surfers of all experience who want to take their surfing to the next level have the chance to spend two days with one of the world’s best when the Surfing Australia High Performance Centre hosts the Laura Enever Surf Camp.

To be held on December 17-18, girls under 18 will spend two days surfing and learning with the current ASP World No.10 plus Surfing Australia’s expert coaches at the HPC at Casuarina in northern NSW. The camp continues the impressive series of HPC Pro Surfer Camps with previous hosts including Steph Gilmore, Mick Fanning, Owen Wright, Bede Durbidge, Ace Buchan, Dan Ross and Joel Parkinson.

The camp will include meeting and surfing with Laura, personalised signed poster and a Nike 6.0 goodies bag, guidance from Australia’s best fully accredited coaches, video analysis of each wave surfed, as well as a DVD of the camp. "I’m really excited about hosting the camps. I watched Steph and few others like Mick and Joel host their camps so for me to host one is pretty cool," Laura said.

"I would have loved to have gone to a camp with those guys so I hope the girls get the same stoke out of my camp... I didn’t really have anything like the HPC camps when I was starting out so I hope all the girls who come along learn a lot and I’m looking forward to having a lot of fun with them."

HPC Manager James Eggington said the camp will provide a unique opportunity for participants. “We’re so excited to host another Pro Surfer Camp at the High Performance Centre and to have an ASP World No.10 will be a great inspiration for the next generation of female surfers who attend the camp,” Eggington said.

“Laura has achieved so much at such a young age on the world stage and the girls who attend the camp will learn a lot from her.”

The HPC is based at Casuarina Beach, just 15 minutes south of the Gold Coast. For further bookings and further information please contact HPC manager James Eggington on (02) 6674 9868 or email james @ The High Performance Centre Pro Surfer Camps are proudly supported by the Australian Sports Commission, Suncorp and TravelSIM.
