French freesurfer digs in deep for Madagascar experience
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 7 December, 2013 - In the latest video from our French freesurfer and ocean nomad Teiki Ballian, he travels to far-flung Madagascar in his quest for waves and adventure. He finds it.
"This is probably one of my most memorable adventures" says Teiki. "The amount of effort it took to organize, find the budget, get on so many different planes and spending hours in a truck going through rough terrain...but it was all worth it.
"All the amazing people I met, and being able to stay at Hugo Savalli's house on the beach in front of a super fun wave, it was great. And though I didn't get super lucky surf wise, that wasn't the point of this voyage really...I wanted to get lost and learn from whatever came my way," he explained.
