V-2 Shortboard was under Carissa's feet at Margaret River
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 8 April, 2014 - Carissa Moore has defeated Tyler Wright at the 2014 Drug Aware Pro at Margaret River in Western Australia. After defeating Stephanie Gilmore in the semi finals Carissa went on to have a head to head with Tyler Wright in the final.
Carissa rode a 5'11 Round Tail V2 Shortboard HP to victory, while Tyler came in second on her 5'11 "Round Tail SemiStep" Driver.
The final featured a couple lead changes through the back and forth heat until Carissa sealed the victory with an 8.23 score on a wave that featured two big critical turns.
The final score was Carissa’s 15.73 to Tyler’s 14.10. Carissa remains undefeated in “one on one” heats between Her and Tyler Wright!
