Nikki Van Dijk learned how to surf at a young age in Phillip Island, Australia. At just 12 years old, she became the youngest competitor to win a state junior championship. In 2012, Nikki won the Women’s ASP Australasia Pro Junior Series Champion, and the prestigious Women’s Nike US Open of Surfing Pro Junior title shortly after. Nikki’s first place finish at the 2013 6-star Pantin Classic Galicia Pro in Spain, qualified her for the 2014 women’s world tour.
