Talented goofy-footer Paige Hareb joined the elite tour in 2009, becoming the first woman from New Zealand to qualify for the ASP Women's World Tour.  She finished 8th her rookie year on tour after solid performance, including a win at the Drug Aware Pro at Margaret River. Paige is an all-around athlete who also trains in boxing, occasionally competing to raise money for her world tour travels. The Kiwi has made the podium two years in a row (2012/2013) as runner-up at the Supergirl Pro, an ASP 6-star event. Although she does not have a major sponsor, Paige continues to prove that she is a tough competitor with her powerful surfing and lethal backhand attack, requalifying for the 2014 world tour.
