Piping Hot Australia expands to International market



PIPING HOT RETURNS TO INT´L MARKET

"Piping Hot Australia" Surfwear Brand

From its humble beginning twenty-five years ago as a producer of wetsuits to becoming one of the first Australian companies to move into product marketing through licensing, the Piping Hot brand has experienced tremendous growth on its native shores. Becoming a fully licensed brand in 1998 has led to an over 50% sales growth in the last five years with major distribution in Australian department stores.

Bradford Licensing Associates is currently expanding the Piping Hot Australia surf wear and surf lifestyle products globally with an aggressive push to target the U.S. and key international markets. Bradford Licensing has recently assigned agents to represent the brand in Europe, Canada, Central and South America, and Asia.

In the U.S. and Europe, product introductions for a line of Piping Hot apparel and swimwear are expected for spring 2002. Also in Europe, one of the most recently signed deals includes sport bags, backpacks and stationery.

According to Len Reiter, President of Bradford Licensing "We plan to build the brand in the U.S. and internationally by including apparel, surf lifestyle products, fashion accessories, sporting goods, stationery, back-to-school products and video games." Bradford will be promoting the Piping Hot Australia licensing program at Licensing 2001 International in New York City from June 12-14 at booth #1542.
