Joly scores national U/14 title while Tristan travels
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 22 October, 2014 - As you might know, there is never a dull moment in the Protest Sportswear world. Our snowboarders and skiers are enjoying life back at the slopes again. Aymeric Tonin is getting some photoshoots done and getting ready for the winter episodes of Protest Pin It! This summers’ video project will (of course) get a follow-up! Stay tuned for more info!
In the meantime French surfgirl Uhaina Joly scored the national title U14. Good job girl.
Abu Dhabi is getting ready for the World Championships wakeboarding. Our little wakeboard lady Maxine Sapulette will be joining this event. We wish her the best of luck.
With winter being near, our surfer Tristan Guilbaud is also traveling for competitions in warmer regions of the world. He is now in Brazil in Joaquina Beach to compete, chill and rip some nice waves.
Have you seen our new local ambassadors? We would like you to meet: Emma Jane Pickard, also known as Emsey. This lady has been wakeboarding for a long time. Boat as well as cable is her cup of tea. Winning competitions in masters divisions in the UK and spreading the love about wakeboarding; this one is a keeper.
Dutch teenager Rutger Bergman has been growing in the wakeboarding sport. Claiming first place in the nationals boat and second place at the nationals cable he deservers some support. Therefore he also gets a spot as an ambassador. Good luck at the European championships in October, Rutger!
Then an other kid named Cyrille de Lange, joined the local/ ambassador team. With only 10 years, he is rocking the slopes on his skis! Keep an eye on this young fellow.
Last but certainly not least, we added Lucie Rose Donlan to the team. This rookie is not only a good surfer but also an inspiration to a lot of girls who love the world of a surfer girl. Make sure to follow her on instagram!
