Tyron González joins top juniors in Ecuador
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 3 April, 2014 - Tyron González, an integral member of the Argentinian Surf Team readies for the Vissla ISA World Junior Surfing Championship.
The event kicks off on the 5th of April in la FAE, Salinas, Ecuador. González, the Quiksilver Argentina team rider, is heading into this important event after a stellar performance with a third place finish in the Billabong Pro Miramar, the third event organized by the Asociación de Surf Argentina (ASA).
Tyron González will compete in the M18 category alongside Joaquín Juárez, Facundo Arreyes, and Felipe Suárez. With hopes of raising the Argentinian flag, González has his eyes set on the podium. Quiksilver Argentina wishes him the best of luck in Ecuador.
The Vissla ISA WJSC 2014 will take place in La FAE, a military base area on the western-most point in the continental South America, on the Santa Elena Peninsula. La FAE is 10 minutes from Salinas, Ecuador and offers one of the best left breaking point breaks as well as a consistent beach break.
