100th Quiksilver store in South East Asia opens
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 17 December, 2013 -- Bali, Indonesia - Quiksilver South East Asia have finished the year with a bang, celebrating a successful 2013 with an end of year party at their regional headquarters in Kuta, Bali.
The year-end party was a way for the company’s regional distributors, internal staff, retail partners, teamriders, friends and family to reflect on a year that saw the opening of the 100th Quiksilver store across the region.
Despite the services of the local pawang hujan (rain witch doctor ) the infamous Bali wet season kicked in . This didn’t stop the crowd reveling to the band as the babi and kambing guling (suckling pig and roasted goat) was served up.
Special mention was made to the regions key retail partners including PT Greenbowl and PT Putri Ayu who have continued to open premium retail stores across the key market of Bali. As well as this PT Selancar Mandiri were congratulated for their rapid growth of Quiksilver, Roxy and DC in new and developing markets across Indonesia.
CEO of Quiksilver South East Asia, Mr Paul Hutson shared “Quiksilver has been around for more than 40 years and as we continue to grow the boardriding lifestyle throughout our region we can be proud that we are all contributing to the brand enjoying another 40 plus years."
