Powerful Water Company on board for this year's film festival

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 7 September, 2015 - London Surf/Film Festival welcomes Powerful Water Company on board as drinks partner for this year’s festival. Hosted 16 - 24 October 2015 across the capital and across two weekends the 5th Edition of the London Surf / Film Festival is a celebration of the cream of international and British surf, film, art and culture.

“We’re delighted to be working with POW,” says LS/FF Director Chris Nelson. “They support some of the UK’s finest surfing talent from European Longboard Champion Ben Skinner to big wave charger Tom Butler as well as artists and creatives at a grass roots level which truly reflects the ethos of the festival.”

Founded in 2011 by surf writers Chris Nelson and Demi Taylor the annual London Surf / Film Festival brings to the UK a curated line up of the very best surf films from across the globe to inspire, enlighten and entertain. Accompanied by a live music, makers and doers workshops, filmmaker Q+A’s, the best homegrown talents, a gallery show and more it has become the must-attend event for purveyors of the glide.

“Power of Water is a brand new sparkling water packed with natural energy; we love working with individuals who capture the world in unique and different ways so we’re super excited to be supporting this year’s London Surf /Film Festival,” says POW Chief Marketer Charlie Schofield.

Hosted 16-17 October at The Genesis Cinema, E1 and 23-24 October at the landmark Regent Street Cinema, W1, London Surf /Film Festival is a showcase of international surfing’s hottest releases, premiering award-winning features, underground hits and homegrown shorts that explore all aspects and angles of surfing and surf culture. The full line up will be released this month when tickets go on sale priced from £8.50.
