Surf documentary filmed in 16mm to be released this fall 

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 9 August, 2014 - Strange Rumblings in Shangri-La (SRiSL) is the next chapter in the surf documentary legacy.  Shot mostly on 16mm it follows the Globe surf team unforgettable worldwide journey from the frigid shores of Iceland to the sultry coastline of Mozambique.

Audiences will be transported from well-known surf spots in Europe to exotic islands off the coast of Brazil and into deepest Indonesia. SRiSL will be released September 25 globally via iTunes for all to download and will also be on DVD.


SRiSL is directed by accomplished surf director Joe G and produced by The Hill Brothers (owners of Globe footwear/apparel – and Whyte House Entertainment who also produced Eric Bana’s documentary “Love The Beast”
