French logging lass Victoria Vergara as stylish on camera as on the nose

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 23 April, 2015 - Victoria Vegara is a beautiful French model. She's also one of the world's most talented female longboarders, havign just finshed a close second at the Australian Longboard Surfing Open.

Here's a quick clip of Victoria's graceful gorgeous, leggy logging, followed by a great interview from the folks over at Surf Careers.

When and where did you start surfing?
Surfing came naturally to me. I started surfing at age 4 on a small French island named Oleron Island thanks to my parents who are surfers themselves. I grew up between New Caledonia and Reunion Island, which is where I started longboarding.

What is it that you love about surfing and the ocean?
I learned how to swim before I could walk. At a young age I discovered the beauty and all the treasures of the ocean. The best part of surfing is being surrounded by the infinite beauty of the waves and people I love. No words can describe this feeling. The ocean will always be my favourite place where I rejuvenate myself.

Do you have a session that stands out as your most memorable?
Every session is unforgettable, but my most memorable would be on Reunion Island at Saint-Leu. The waves were pumping and I surfed with my boyfriend for almost 5 hours. It was such a beautiful day and I will never forget it.

My biggest dream is to be able to do it again one day.

What is your favourite travel destination / surf break?
My favourite destination is Australia. I’m so in love with Noosa. However, there are a lot more surfbreaks out there for me to discover and I just can’t wait to travel the world a little bit more and build a list of many favourite destinations :)

How did you get into modelling and what do you love about it?
I got into modelling at 16 for Roxy and I’m so happy for the opportunities it has given me. For me, modelling is all about being healthy, active, smiling and travelling. Plus, I have the chance to mix surfing with it so I couldn’t be more stoked about my job!
