Mazda and Surfing New South Wales continue partnership through 2016

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 17 March, 2015 - Sydney, Australia - Surfing NSW will continue to drive into the future thanks to a new 12-month partnership with Mazda. As part of the alliance, Mazda has become a corporate partner of Surfing NSW and will sponsor a variety of Surfing NSW events over the forthcoming calendar year.

Surfing NSW will also be equipped with two new Mazda BT-50 vehicles and a new Mazda CX-5.

“Mazda NSW is extremely excited to be partnering with Surfing NSW for 2015,” said Mazda NSW State Manager Chris McCullam. “The active and healthy lifestyle eschewed by the surfing culture, parallels with our beliefs at Mazda where our vehicle range and flexibility enables customers to pursue their own dreams."

Surfing NSW CEO Mark Windon echoed the same sentiments:  “Over 40 weeks of the year, Surfing NSW are on NSW beaches delivering events and educational programs – not always on city beaches that have promenades and numerous resources on hand – and are quite regularly in remote locations where all equipment has to be transported to the contest site."
