Travel service to cover West Oz Junior Surfing Titles
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 2 March, 2016 - Trigg Beach - Surfing Western Australia announces a new partnership with Australia’s premier surf adventure company World Surfaris. World Surfaris will join Surfing WA as its exclusive travel partner, as well as being the naming rights sponsor of the 2016 WA Junior Surfing Titles.
“We’re super excited to unite forces with World Surfaris, and greatly value their support of grassroots surfing here in WA,” said Surfing WA Events Manager Justin Majeks. “Surfers all love to travel to new places and we think this announcement is a perfect fit for both our organisations.”
The WA Junior Surfing Titles are breeding ground for the state’s future talent and have provided an important stepping-stone in many young surfers’ careers.
Some of WA’s best surfers first cut their teeth in the Junior State Title events, with Taj Burrow (Yallingup), Yadin Nicol (Cowaramup), Ry Craike (Kalbarri), Creed McTaggart (Margaret River), Luke Campbell (Trigg), Claire Bevilacqua (Yallingup), Jacob Willcox (Margaret River) and Felicity Palmateer (Trigg), all being previous State Junior Champions.
“World Surfers are stoked to be the major sponsor of the WA Junior Surfing Titles,” said Shaun Levings, World Surfaris Managing Director. “We have many customers from Western Australia who travel to Indonesia and the Maldives with us each year and we are happy to be able to give back to grass roots surfing and support the WA surfing community.”
World Surfaris has set the benchmark for quality with over 20 years of surf travel experience. World Surfaris go the extra mile to ensure the best quality surf adventures possible, from quick and easy bookings, all the way through to crowd dodging to ensure the best waves are scored.
The World Surfaris WA Junior Surfing Titles start in Margaret River on the 19th — 20th March, before travelling to Mandurah and Geraldton in June and July.
