Surf Meal Co. will support a wide range of WA's surfing events

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 21 September, 2017 -  Surfing Western Australia announced today a new partnership with locally based nutrition company, The Surf Meal Co.

The partnership will link WA's premier surfing organisation with the original surf nutrition company, in a move that will support and strengthen Surfing WA’s vision to encourage, promote, advance and administer the sport of surfing in Western Australia.

The partnership will see the Surf Meal Co. support a wide range of WA's most iconic and prestigious surfing events, including the upcoming Surf Boardroom Surf League, as well as the Whalebone Longboard Classic and King of the Point competitions.

With a similar ethos and a shared goal of empowering surfers with pathways to enhance their performance, Surfing WA and The Surf Meal Co. are all about providing opportunities or tailored nutrition to perform at your peak.

“Surfing WA is thrilled to partner with the Surf Meal Co.,” said Surfing WA Events Manager Justin Majeks. “Like us, they're a Western Australian company that is committed to improving the lives of surfers and ocean users through their range of all natural products. It's a partnership that will provide our members and competitors with the ideal pre-surf snack, that will see them paddle harder, surf longer and hopefully catch more waves.”

The Surf Meal Co. President Steele Walster is a proud West Australian and is excited to be coupling with his home state’s governing body and feels big things are on the horizon for the bonded organisations.

“Surfing WA is an exciting and progressive association and together with The Surf Meal Co., we will move forward to promote and inspire the glorious art of surfing in Western Australia,” said Walster. “WA has one of the most unique and diverse coastlines in the world and I am so fortunate to live where I do. The opportunities Surfing WA present are really exciting and we are delighted that we can help share the stoke with surfers young, old, new and experienced.”

Surfers will be able to sample the wide range of products offered by The Surf Meal Co. at events throughout the calendar year, as well as benefit from exclusive member-only specials and promotions. The Surf Meal Co. will be supporting WA's best boardriding clubs this weekend at the Surf Boardroom Surf League on Saturday at Scarborough Beach.

Established in 1964, Surfing WA has artfully adapted and evolved to grow it's presence whilst connecting with the local and worldwide surfing community.
