Team France gets off to a rocky start on Thursday | French

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 10 April, 2014 - The day started badly for the French team, but ended slightly better. After the interruption of the competition on Tuesday afternoon after sharks were spotted at La Fae, the competitors were on alert Wednesday.

In the morning, the lone U16  survivor of the main podium, Léo- Paul Etienne, smashed two bombs to finish with his the feet in the sand at Salinas.

In the afternoon, "Leo" went into battle to snatch qualification for the semifinals of the main draw in a very tough series with two Americans and a Hawaiian.
