Loose Leaf and Long Grain designs made more user friendlyun

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 21 April, 2016 - Tom Carroll Paddle Surf has added something new in the surf SUP genre. The new Outer Reef model complements original Loose Leaf and Long Grain designs, making their advancements more user friendly and fun, plus affordable, for anyone wanting to experience flat water or small wave Stand Up Paddling.

Carroll, an iconic two-time world surfing champion, renowned big wave charger and dedicated SUP enthusiast, defines the term ‘waterman’. Together with acclaimed Hawaiian shaper and veteran SUP builder Blane Chambers, the pair has been perfecting designs for nearly a decade.

"I've been working with Blane Chambers and Global Surf Industries on my SUP program, and together we've reached another milestone in this awesome journey,” explained Carroll. “The Outer Reef model will catch just about anything. Sporting finely tuned foils, our chine rails, double concave displacement hull, a smooth running relaxed rocker, she propels with ease under paddle while holding her course."

“With a focus on swift, up and go glide, from flat water to small surf conditions, the TCPS Outer Reef features suit all paddlers - especially those looking for some feistiness…she’ll perform like a maxi yacht in the lake’s flat water sessions, then when pushed hold her edge against the wave face, run through those faster sections, all while helping you feel super supported.”
