Ollypop expands line beyond towels
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 3 July, 2014 - New surfboard pin boards from Ollypop the only time it¹s OK to put a hole in your board!
Ollypop first came on the scene back in 2006 when they bravely entered the Dragon's Den to pitch their surf towel/training aid to the dragons. Although they didn't get the backing, their quirky towels were seen on screen by millions across the UK and Ollypop quickly became established.
Now, 8 years on, the towels are still going strong and Ollypop have added a small clothing range to their offering as well as a children¹s book, Pigs Might Surf which was so successful it is now into it¹s second print run. Keen to offer new and original products, Ollypop founder Olly Daglish is now forging ahead with their newest product - surfboard pin boards.
Ollypop is about offering unique, slightly quirky, original products with roots firmly based in surfing. We¹d like to offer more products for the home, so we decided to take the humble cork pinboard and give it a surfy re-vamp.
The large pin boards are just under 1 metre in length and made from laminated cork, hand crafted in Devon. They¹re easy to put up with the strong 3M command hanging strips supplied and come in four colours red, blue, charcoal and natural. They look great in any room - just don¹t take them in the surf! The boards retail for £38 and can be ordered online.
