Radical moves earn Rafael Pereira takes top honors in Ecuador

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 13 April, 2015 - Montanita, Ecuador - In a third straight day of perfect and consistent waves in Montañita perfect rights of the Venezuelan Rafael Pereira , based on an amazing combination of radical maneuvers , he became the new champion ALAS Mimi Barona Classic Montañita.

The second stage of the Latin tour were also champions Peruvian Lucca Mesinas in Pro Junior, the Ecuadorian Dominic Barona in the Peruvian ladies and Longboard World Champion , Piccolo Clemente, in their division.

Pereira faced local Israel Barona in the final , who had a great performance throughout the event. The decision ultimately went in favor of the Venezuelan. Tied for third place started today latino Open champion, Anthony Fillingim of Costa Rica and the top 5, Jonathan Chila of Ecuador.
