Wavelength Launches Jobs Board for Surf Industry

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 1 July, 2014 - Wavelength Surf Mag unveils the beta launch of its online Jobs board, giving organisations within the surf industry the opportunity to advertise vacancies on a far reaching, and easily accessible platform.

The service is currently provided free of charge, and welcomes companies from all corners of the industry, from those seeking sales assistants or part time surf instructors to those looking for applicants for more high level managerial roles. By forming a connection between companies and a huge community of perspective applicants, all in one place, the service will reduce the time, energy and cost usually associated with the recruitment process.

“Wavelength is right at the heart of the surf community so it makes a lot of sense for us to be promoting jobs for companies and organisations within the industry. The platform is still in it’s early stages, and we will be developing it when we’ve heard back all the companies to ensure we can really provide a great service that people want!” commented Will Hayler, CEO Wavelength Media, on his decision to launch of the new platform.

In addition to a link to the Jobs Board page on the main menu of the Wavelength media website, all newly listed jobs will be posted across our social media platforms, which amass a combined following of over 200,000 people.

Still in its early developmental stage, Wavelength is looking to encourage engagement in the service, from both client and perspective applicants, with a view to listening to the market and tailoring the platform accordingly in the future.

Posting a job is simple, just visit wavelengthmag.co.uk/submit-job/ and fill out the form.
