Swatch Girls Pro France set to start
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 13 August, 2014 - With a week remaining to the start of the Swatch Girls Pro France, the world's best female surfers are arriving in Les Landes for the ASP 6-Star Qualifying Series (QS) event scheduled for August 20-24. Known for its world class beach breaks and incredible atmosphere, the Swatch Girls Pro France is one of the most eagerly awaited stops on tour.
"I love packing my boards, bikinis and bag for this contest. It is definitely one of my favourite events," said Coco Ho (HAW), currently ranked 10th on the World Championship Tour. "You can count on great waves, intense competition and nowhere can match the good vibes of France in summer."

"The waves have been fun over the last few weeks and the banks look good," said local hope Justine Dupont (FRA). "As more and more of the top surfers arrive, you can really start to feel the excitement building. It's all set for an epic week."
Two-time and reigning Swatch Girls Pro France Champion Courtney Conlogue has unfortunately withdrawn from this year's event due to the ongoing recovery of an ankle injury. Conlogue is aiming to return to competition at the Swatch Women’s Pro Trestles in California scheduled for September 9-20, 2014.

In addition to the high performance surfing on offer at the contest site of Les Bourdaines, the Sounds of Summer presented by Skullcandy adds a heavy dose of festival fun to the Swatch Girl Pro France. A stellar DJ line up that includes Riton, Para One, DVNO, Victor Aime, Girls Girls Girls, Chloé and Tim Boal, will be filling the evening sky with cool tunes on August 22nd, starting at 8:00 p.m. at Hossegor's La Centrale. It is Europe's surf and summer party of the year so don't miss out.
A press conference will be held on August 18th at 9:30 a.m. at the Lake Loft Hotel in Hossegor with Coco Ho (HAW), Justine Dupont (FRA), Johanne Defay (FRA) and others present.
