50-million Brazilian homes to get live WSL broadcasts through Globosat

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 6 April, 2015 - Los Angeles, California - Today, the World Surf League announced a multi-year broadcast partnership with Globosat in Brazil, which will bring the world’s best surfing to 50 million Brazilian viewers across Globosat’s expansive television platform.

“It is the most exciting time in the history of the sport right now,” Paul Speaker, WSL CEO, said. “The performances of the world’s best surfers, the dynamic venues around the globe and the unparalleled adventure, athleticism and competitive drama of professional surfing has surged in the past 24 months.
