  • Ella Williams claims victory at Medoc Ocean Lacanau Pro

    19 August, 2016 - Ella Williams, 21, has won the women’s Médoc Océan Lacanau Pro over local surfer Justine Dupont, 24, in two-to-three foot lefts and rights. Dupont and Williams engaged in a tight back-and-forth battle in the fading swell, mainly scoring medium scores in the first half of the final until the French surfer took a first good score for the lead. Dupont started on a left-hander and managed to squeeze in three turns for a 6.00.
