The Tweed Heads surfer earned herself $1000 for the win plus valuable ASP Australasia Pro Junior Series rankings points.

    18 September, 2014 - ASP WCT: South Africa’s Jordy Smith today claimed a last-minute victory at the Hurley Pro at Trestles over Hawaii’s John John Florence to put a season of close calls behind him and move him up to No. 11 on the WCT rankings. Smith, 27, recently relocated to San Clemente and his local knowledge provided crucial wave selection in the final moments of the heat to steal the lead from Florence.

    17 September, 2014 - ASP WCT: 21-year-old John John Florence (HAW) surfed one of the most flawless heats in ASP history today, sealing a berth in tomorrow’s Quarterfinals and marking himself as the man to beat in the Hurley Pro at Trestles. His near-perfect two wave total of 19.73 eclipsed 11-time World Champion Kelly Slater (USA) and Adriano De Souza (BRA), and stands as the highest two-wave heat total of the competition.

    11 September, 2014 - ASP WCT: Wildcards delivered major upsets in the Hurley Pro at Trestles today as Tanner Gudauskas (USA) and Carlos Munoz (CRI) successively defeated top seeds Kelly Slater (USA) and Gabriel Medina (BRA) in non-elimination Round 1. The Swatch Women’s Pro Trestles was equally electric with Lakey Peterson (USA) eliminating reigning two-time ASP Women’s World Champion Carissa Moore (HAW), who will now relinquish her world ratings lead. The women’s Quarterfinalists have been decided after the completion of Round 4.

    7 September, 2014 - ASP PRIME: Jesse Mendes has won the ASP Prime SATA Azores Pro pres. by Sumol in windy 2-to-3-foot surf, defeating Joan Duru in an exciting 35-minute final. Mendes also takes an early lead in the Portuguese Waves Series - Cascais Trophy, a series of three events comprised of Azores, the Cascais Billabong Pro and Moche Rip Curl Pro Peniche, that will offer a bonus $50,000 to the overall winner.

    5 September, 2014 - ASP PRIME: A new swell arrived overnight and pulsed waves in the 3-to-5-foot range allowing the ASP Prime SATA Azores Pro pres. by Sumol to resume on Day 4. The final four heats of the Round of 16 were completed before moving into the quarterfinals to decide the last four men standing.
