    30 August, 2015 - WSL QS: In a thrilling showcase of last-minute heat wins and excellent scores, Asher Nolan (USA) claimed the 2015 WRV Outer Banks Pro presented by Hurley and Pacifico today. Starting from Round 1 and not dropping a single heat en route to victory, Nolan’s backside attack was unwavering and could not be stopped. Taking down good friend and another surfer who was in-form the whole event, Brian Toth (PRI), Nolan thoroughly enjoyed the showdown.

Puerto has been in the surf media spotlight for so long that it’s now starting to produce its own crew of surfers, entrepreneurs and, yes, photographers.

  • Pauline Ado and Bino Lopes win inaugural Pro Anglet

    29 August, 2015 - WSL QS: Pauline Ado and Bino Lopes have won the inaugural Pro Anglet in clean three-to-four foot waves at the iconic Chambre d'Amour of Anglet. The men's final started right before the 10-minute mark with a split peak between the two finalists opting to go frontside, Lopes on the right while Criere started on the left. With an excellent 8.17, Lopes took a strong lead over Criere's false start.

  • Heated Lacomare vs Duru quarterfinal sets stage for Pro Anglet

    28 August, 2015 - WSL QS - The Pro Anglet resumed in clean three-to-four foot surf and advanced through both men and women’s rounds to set up for an exciting final day on Saturday. Joan Duru (FRA) 26, took his game to a whole new level on day 4 and surfed an incredible heat in the quarterfinals to outsurf good friend and fellow dangerous goofyfooter Marc Lacomare (FRA), with an 18.17 heat total, the highest of the entire event so far.

  • Local lifeguard upsets top QS surfers in Anglet

    27 August, 2015 - WSL QS: A new four-to-five foot swell arrived overnight, allowing the Pro Anglet to resume the men’s event in firing conditions. An avalanche of high-scoring rides and mind-blowing performances decided the last sixteen surfers remaining in contention for a shot at the inaugural Pro Anglet title.

    25 August, 2015 - WSL CT: Jeremy Flores (FRA) has won the Billabong Pro Tahiti in the Final bout against reigning WSL Champion Gabriel Medina (BRA) held in six foot surf at Teahupo’o. Stop No. 7 of 11 on the 2015 Samsung Galaxy WSL Championship Tour (CT) has been treated to incredible performances by the world’s best surfers, culminating today with Flores’ win.

  • CJ nails a 10 & Gabriel stays in as Billabong Pro nears end

    24 August, 2015 - WSL CT: The world’s best surfers battled dangerous conditions at Teahupo’o as competition ran through Rounds 3 and 4 of the Billabong Pro Tahiti, stop No. 7 on the 2015 Samsung Galaxy World Surf League Championship Tour. Four surfers earned a direct advance to the Quarterfinals and the stage is set for a thrilling Finals Day tomorrow, beginning with Round 5.
