Catch the biggest moments from the last day of the women's 2014 season, in which Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) clinched her sixth ASP World Title and two-time Champ Carissa Moore (HAW) won the event. Moore became the first Hawaiian to win at Honolua.

Gilmore opened up this year’s season with an emphatic win at home on the Gold Coast, reestablishing herself as a threat to the title following years of pressure applied by a new generation of talent.

    26 November, 2014 - ISA/ASP: On Day 2 of the Hainan Classic, Men’s 4-Star ASP Qualifying Series event, the surfers once again faced tough conditions with knee to waist high waves at Rocky Rights, a spot that is few hundred yards from the primary contest site.

  • Quarterfinalists named at Target Pro Maui

    26 November, 2014 - ASP CT: The Quarterfinalists were decided today at the final stop on 2014 Samsung Galaxy ASP Women’s World Championship Tour (WCT), the Target Maui Pro presented by Schick Hydro Silk. The event ran through Rounds 2,​ 3 and 4 in solid eight foot building surf at Honolua Bay. The World Title race is still very much in play, with each of the three contenders - Australians Stephanie Gilmore, Sally Fitzgibbons and Tyler Wright - through to the Quarterfinals.

  • Hainan Classic kicks off Day 3 of Surfing Festival

    25 November, 2014 - ISA/ASP: The third day of the ISA’s Hainan Wanning Riyue Bay International Surfing Festival marked the start of the Hainan Classic, Men’s 4-Star ASP Qualifying Series event. Day One of the competition took place at the picturesque left point break at Riyue Bay with challenging surfing conditions. The international field of surfers from 16 countries managed to showcase their high performance abilities despite the difficult conditions.

  • Honolua comes to life as Target Maui Pro kicks off

    5 November, 2014 - ASP WT: After three consecutive lay days, the Target Maui Pro kicked off with a bang. Tyler Wright (AUS) put her fellow World Title contenders -- Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS) and Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) -- on red alert when she earned a near-perfect 18.90 heat total in the opening round at Honolua Bay. “I try not to worry about the competition in my heats,” said Wright. “I love it when the girls are surfing really well and, if anything, it inspires me to go harder. When I get a wave I just want to do my best on it and that’s all I’m really about when I’m out there.

  • Peru beats Australia, takes gold at ISA China Cup

    24 November, 2014 - ISA: With strong performances on both the Men and Women’s side, Peru won the Team Gold Medal and the ISA China Cup Team Trophy. Australia placed a close second, earning the Silver Medal, Brazil won the Bronze Medal, and South Africa took the Copper Medal.

The 8 participating National Surfing Teams: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Panama, Peru and South Africa, along with their 48 surfers, traveled from every corner of the globe to compete for Gold. All the surfers have gathered in tropical Wanning, on Hainan Island in the South China Sea, for the third annual event.
